Playing in the shadows on the balcony of our apartment in Cannes
Life has been very good to me lately. As the time to go back in Bucharest for the summer is quickly approaching, my mind is on a constant reflexion mode – it’s incredible how our visions can change. I pay more attention to details, I appreciate every single sparkle that the sun creates on the surface of the sea and every breath I take is deep, grateful and peaceful. The French Riviera is a corner of peaceful paradise, without a worry in the world. It is a blessing to meet the sea every single day. Having it as the first thing you see when you wake up in the morning transforms you into a real poet. It makes you think about life and believe in something else, something more. Just like the title of this post says… wild and free.
“Cheers to the nights that turned into mornings and friends that turn into family.”
This year has gifted me with the most precious friends. We can completely say that we lived to the foolest our teenage years. It’s so important to have people to do crazy sh*t with! I used to call them family until… I have found out that… one of them is a relative of mine for good!! After talks with my family we found out that our grand mothers were relatives… and we met in France with absolutely no idea of this. A hella crazy coincidence!!
My family is finally here too! I haven’t seen them in 3 months and I would never think that a mother’s hug could mean so much. Time to feel like a little baby again.
I shot these precious pictures with my sweet little bro. It’s incredible to see how much he evolved as a human and as a photographer this past year or so. He’s a real proffessional now!
Love how these pictures came out and their mood. I love that mysterious charm, the red lips coming from the shadows and the effortless vibe on a warm afternoon after the beach.
It is exactly the definition of life on the French Riviera.
