Writing straight from the library of my university in between two courses, today I’m bringing you this artice that’s going to be a special one for two reasons: the shooting location (Le château de Nice) and the talented new photographer, Quentin Le Blanc. Can’t thank him enough, he captured exactly the magical flare and I’m obsessed with the result.
It took me a while to clear my mind after completely changing my life and turning it upside down. But now, when I look around, the only word I can think of is ALIVE. I feel so lucky – like I’m finally living, leading this lifestyle where every single day brings me something new, something mysterious and unknown. Totally free and somehow not lost at all. Life seems easier when you keep in mind that whichever path you chose, it will take you to a place even more magical. There’s a reason behind everything that happens in our lives – even if we can’t figure it out right in this instant, we will – in 5 minutes, days or years. But the reason is out there.
There’s no doubt that a clear but focused mind and a kind heart will always lead to the achievement of your most hidden dreams.
I cannot tell you where I’m headed or where I want to be in 10 years. I don’t know. All I know is that I’m seeking moments to remember forever, stories to tell and living each second as if it was the last. This lifestyle will make sure that you’ll be happy no matter what, because you can build your own happiness based on every small thing.
There is no better than from the hill of The château de Nice to admire this perfect creation – the sky changing all kinds of colors as if it was painted by someone, just adding water, then color, back again with water and then these last sparkles trying to shine through the black…
The South of France is well known for the magic light. It’s just different. No wonder why all this famous painters we look up to chose this land as their studio. Cézanne in Aix-en-Provence, Renoir and his house in Cagnes-sur-Mer, where you can still visit his studio and see his personal objects, Matisse in Nice and Vence.. it’s a heaven for modern art.
As for outfits, I’ve been pretty much into Monochrome ones lately. Of course, not without a feminine touch. I chose a never-go-wrong black high-neck blouse and a white cotton blend ruffle mini skirt featuring a high waist. This skirt won’t forgive you for the extra carbs! To top it all off I added a sparkl-ish little bag with a dark pink bag charm pompon.
As you might have already seen on my social media, Quentin Le Blanc is the new photographer! I just loove how the pictures turned out, it’s like a breath of fresh air for Stephanize. It is a brand new vision and I am totally in love with the mood of these captures. He was so kind (even though I was 30 minutes late because I got lost around the city and started to run – heels, rain, who cares), it was a pleasure to work with him. Check out his work here:
What do you think about the new appearance?
Thank you so much for reading, there is so much more to come!
