Hello everyone! I’m back from a well-deserved holiday in Roma and I couldn’t wait to show you the outfits that we shot there. The magic of Rome is a pure bliss.
I was craving a little (that turned out a big) adventure. And so I dropped everything and flew to Rome in the middle of the semester. I missed some final tests and some important classes, but my soul is as happy as never. The good part is that when the only direction of the airplane is the sky, no one can catch you (not even your teachers or your homework) and all that you have now is freedom and a whole world for you to explore at your fingertips.
I often find myself thinking how many things happen in the world in this very second. People are crying, laughing, enjoying life, some of them are waking up while others are going to sleep, a new life starts while the other is coming to an end. Some of them are in the snow, while others enjoy a day at the beach. Some are dancing at a wild pool party, while others are studying for an exam. Don’t you want to feel it all? Sometimes, it’s ok to feel a little bit imprisoned in between the 4 walls of your room and classrom. I do. But hey, this is why they invented airplanes. We buy an airplane ticket and we receive happiness as a bonus.
We all want to live free but the daily obligations and life concerns often take the lead. Yes, life is busy and we have responsabilities that we can’t just run away from. But what if we are again that careless child? Take a second and think about this short little life. If we live it well, it shouldn’t seem as short. Every wasted minute is lost, it will never come back. Every second is precious and special, do not try to count them, just make them count. Don’t be afraid to escape, to do what YOU want to do, to explore, to love and, above all, to feel. I think this means to be alive and it makes you a human, after all.
This adventure was the perfect occasion to wear something super comfy with no regrets. Before I travel I go on a huge shopping spree, getting things that I don’t really wear or they’re super uncomfortable for travelling, especially while exploring 20 km/ a day (yes, I am that crazy). So this time I promised myself this won’t happen and I won’t kill my legs with impossible shoes. I got myself some trusty sweatpants instead and a pair of the precious Adidas Originals – Superstar Foundation. This is pure love right here. They’re super common and (at least) one person out of 5 had them in Rome. Try to feel special and original in this situation! 🙂 Anyways, I can see why – they’re timeless and you can easily wear them with e-v-e-r-y style. I have a few more casual outfit combinations with the popular Adidas Superstar coming on Stephanize this week so stay tuned!
For the decor we chose a little park in the city center that inspired me right away. There’s something about this light in Rome.. like it charges your batteries and it gives you a better, clear vision about life.
These last couple of weeks, my motto in life was: 5 ice creams a day keep the doctor/the heartbreak/ the stress/ the teachers away. Luckily, if I made you crave some italian gelato (or wait until you see the picture hehe) , I have good news! Cremeria Emilia, found in our dear Bucharest has some serious italian gelato game going on. It’s as natural and original and tastes like heaven, just as the one in Italy, pinky promise.
Guys, I’m a part of a contest by Elle Magazine and Luisa Via Roma and it would mean the world to me if you vote for my spring outfit here :http://www.elle.ro/luisaviaroma/single/158. It only takes 15 seconds and you can vote every 15 hours. I’ll be posting very soon more pictures from that day.
Do you have Adidas Superstar too? 🙂 Can’t wait to hear your thoughts about my little reflection and about my outfit! <3 Tell me everything.
