« Quand vous doutez, portez du rouge. » Bill Blass
So many of you have asked me about the profile picture on my personal Facebook page. There you have more details!
This is one of our first attempts to shoot an outfit for Stephanize and we had so much fun. The sun was smiling and shining too (Gurl’, we can’t wait to have you back), so the day was a fairytale. A group of some greek tourists exploring Bucharest stopped by to take pictures of me and my brother as we were shooting. They were so kind!
At that time, I was completely in love with statement necklaces, the bigger the better. Give me glittler, rhinestones, big faux crystals etc. My outfits were simple, neutral, then I added a necklace and boom, it’s poppin’. Now I still like them, but not as much. Lately I prefer minimal accessories, a fine gold or rose gold touch and I’m good to go.
The one thing that will NEVER ever change is my love for the red color. Red lips are basically my signature. When I was little, I was so afraid to wear red lipstick – Looking back and thinking about it, it felt like it’s a forbidden territory, a color for grown, powerful women, and once you start wearing it, it means that you are an adult. So silly to think of me as an adult, but the rest it’s true – Red makes me feel powerful and confident.. A women, after all. It makes me think of all the women throughout history who I look up to, the classics who created dimensions in fashion and beauty in general that will never go out of style. Wearing red is the simplest way to make an impact. It makes you look somehow… inimidating, passionate and atractive.
You can’t forget the woman in red.
