How’s everyone? Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed your time with your families, loved ones and friends. If you think that your shape looks rounder than the usual as you sit on the couch all bloated after the holiday meal asking yourself: “Why did I eat so much?”.. you are definitely not alone my friend.
Ever since someone was nice enough to share their flu with me, I’ve been snuggling in bed like a potato, not being able to move. Having a little bro seems to help when your body decides to give up on you as you ask him for your tea, your pills an the 3rd blanket (Hm, I could get used to being served in bed all day long). The warm blankets and the hot tea sound like paradise, but not when you’re sick and you don’t have any other choice.
Being productive is very important to me, I aways have a plan for the day I try to stick to (even during the winter break) so it’s not that pleasant to be forced into being lazy and yet cancel all your plans.
As I lost count of the cups of tea I’ve had today, I was looking through photos from Paris and remembering all the memories. We planned this article even though the blog was not ready by that time, so I really wanted to share my airport outfit and what I wore during my first hours ever in Paris.
To be totally honest, I always knew that Paris was my city – just because it’s all about poetry and art, the two things that are very close to my soul. Dreaming about it almost every single day while watching other people’s pictures on Instagram, I felt a burning desire that lingered inside me that I could not control to explore, to see those charming places with my very own eyes. As soon as I took my first step out of the airport I finally let myself fall in love with it unconditionally and irrevocably.
Every little corner is so magical, so full of history. I imagine the greatest artists in the late 19th century, as example, seeking inspiration while walking on the same streets as I did, headed to the world’s most famous museums and galleries or drinking wine and creating works of art on the terrace of Café de Flore while the sun powdered gold…
As much as I love the Eiffel Tower or other popular tourist attractions, I feel like this city has so much more to offer, it’s full of hidden gems and more intimate places waiting to be discovered… simply fascinating.
My outfit was comfy and yet I wanted to add a sparkly detail, so that burgundy sweater was the perfect fit. When it comes to fashion, everything is possible in Paris. Especially during Fashion Week, everyone gave life to their wildest visions, creativity and originality were flowing all around.
I really hope you enjoy these precious memories we shot!
